Mohd Faiz is a final year student ofM.Sc.(Microbiology) in Department of Biosciences at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He holds B.Sc (H) degree in Zoology from Hindu college, University of Delhi, New Delhi.
Mohd Faiz has worked as an intern on projects “Drosophila system for research” and "Zebra fish as a tool for experimental biology” at Daulat Ram College (DU) in collaboration with Sanskriti foundation sponsored by Star college project, DBT, Govt. of India.
He has participated in various workshops such as"Skills training program in science communication, science journalism and science writing" conducted by council of scientific and industrial Research (NISCIR) and by National Centre for disease control (NCDC).
